About

My Story

I didn’t come to this work because I had everything figured out.

I came to it because I’ve always been curious about people — how we think, why we react the way we do, and what actually helps us grow.

Over the years, I noticed something simple but powerful:
most people aren’t lacking effort — they’re lacking understanding.

We’re taught how to perform, push, and power through.
But rarely how to slow down, reflect, and connect with what’s happening beneath the surface.

That gap is what drew me to psychology, education, and writing.

And it’s what continues to shape my work today.

What Guides My Work

My approach is grounded, practical, and human.

I believe growth doesn’t happen through pressure or perfection.
It happens through clarity, compassion, and connection.

I translate psychology into everyday language — tools people can actually use in real life, not just theories that sound good on paper.

Because insight should feel empowering, not overwhelming.

What I’m Building

Today, my work lives at the intersection of writing, speaking, and education.

I create articles, resources, and frameworks that help individuals, families, and communities better understand emotional health, relationships, and personal growth.

I’m the creator of Core Connection Theory™, a simple framework that helps people understand how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors shape their everyday lives.

My Background

My background includes formal training in psychology and counseling, along with years of experience supporting individuals and families through life transitions, stress, and emotional challenges. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

While I am not independently licensed, my clinical foundation guides the way I teach, write, and speak about mental health, helping translate complex ideas into practical insight for everyday life.

But more than anything, my work is shaped by listening — to stories, to research, and to the real experiences people carry every day.

Outside Of My Work

Outside of my work, I’m a mom of two, a creative at heart, and someone who finds clarity through writing, long walks, and quiet moments with a good cup of coffee.

Life isn’t perfectly balanced here — it’s real, full, sometimes messy — and that’s exactly why this work matters so much to me.

Growth should fit into real life, not require escaping it.

Looking Forward

My hope is to make psychology feel more accessible, less intimidating, and deeply human.

To build spaces where people feel seen, informed, and empowered.

And to continue creating ideas and conversations that help us live with more intention and connection.
